Dr. Kaur is a board-certified and fellowship-trained breast surgeon dedicated exclusively to women’s breast health, including the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Dr. Kaur completed a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at the renowned Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute/University of South Florida. She completed her residency in general surgery at Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine/Marshall University. She started her surgical residency training here in the Lehigh Valley and now she returns to serve the women of our community.
Dr. Kaur is not only well respected and fellowship trained, but she is also passionate about her work and the community. With her high level of training she is able to provide women who have a suspicious mammogram with a full diagnostic workup, when indicated. She not only focuses on breast abnormalities, but she is also very interested in reaching out to the women in the community and making sure that they are educated on prevention and the importance of early detection.
Dr. Kaur performs:
- Annual and routine breast exams
- Minimally invasive biopsies, including stereotactic biopsies & ultrasound-guided biopsies
- Breast conservation treatment, Lumpectomies, Skin-sparing and nipple- or areola-sparing mastectomies
- Sentinel lymph node procedures
